Re: GGH feedback for freeze/robot/hypno vids

For as much as I'm sure a large chunk of the target demographic likes the models barefoot, I would like to see a more equitable, if not full 50/50 split, between barefoot girls and those keeping their shoes on, particularly in statue/mannqequin and robot modes. Or at least, if there's a mannequin se...

Re: Deducing the mannequin models in "The Trevi Collection"

Meanwhile, I suspect that the model in peach is actually a male stuntman in drag, based on facial structure, and from a shot of them from the back where they appear to be more muscular than the other performers.

Deducing the mannequin models in "The Trevi Collection"

Ever since I saw the episode in my imprinting years, I've always wanted to know who played the three living mannequins in "The Trevi Collection." It's certainly an uphill quest - Darren McGavin is dead, episode director Don Weis is dead, and while Lara Parker and Chuck Waters, the only other actors ...

Re: Miss Leslie's Dolls (1973) on UK Blu

Yeah, that looks like it has potential, but the longer review refers to a PSYCHEDELIC FREAK-OUT, MAN! double twist ending, so fingers crossed that it's just not another let-down. As a UK title, will it be available in the US? Or do you have to have some metric-pixel TV and a loicense for that? Also...

Miss Leslie's Dolls (1973) on UK Blu

Mondo Digital review of new Network Blu: http://www.mondo-digital.com/missleslie.html "Late one night, a young woman runs screaming out of a house only to be grabbed and pulled back inside by an unseen assailant. Some time later on another, rainier evening, a carload of travelers consisting of glamo...

Re: Freeze Updates

I think it's worth noting that for some of us without the greatest connections or DSLs or whatevers that get us to the net, these gif-heavy threads often take upwards of five minutes or more to load, or stall out before the newest posts can be reached. I know that we all want to get a look at the ne...

It says both the URL's are expired. :/ I also took the liberty of removing the "m" from the first link so we don't get the phone version. Thanks, you managed to fix the flaw that I overlooked in my previous post! I guess those links, since they were from the "phone" page, only worked as popups from...

https://m.facebook.com/pg/topregiamodelos/videos/?ref=page_internal&mt_nav=1 The Top Regia school has been a frequent source of great robotic mannequin posing videos, many are still on YouTube. Out of my massive freeze collection over the many years, I have 1 VHS tape left that I am unable to put on my computer. Re: Looking for a clip/title

The film was called MIDAS TOUCH, I believe it had Randy West and K.C. Williams in it. Unfortunately, it also had actress Alexandra Quinn, who was later revealed to be underage when it was made, so that would explain why its vanished from circulation. Quinn had the dumb luck of appearing in another p...

Re: Fashion week NYC mind control plot

West has frequently cited his appreciation of artist Vanessa Beecroft, who has done many similar exhibits involving still live models; many of her installations were early visual fodder for this community at its inception. Beecroft in turn has been a large supporter of West. Odd bedfellows, but ther...

Live action doll event in L.A. 7/31!

While this may not be of 100% according-to-Hoyle interest to the strictest of freeze and mannequin fans, I think there is enough overlap among the communities, and a decent number of said individuals in the SoCal area, that creating awareness of this event would be a welcome thing. {event copy} LOST...

infamous "personal" Neiman-Marcus mannequin

I had long heard about this as urban legend about the kinds of expensive strangeness you could obtain from the upscale department store, but today on my twitter feed (from a non-doller, no less), I finally saw visible proof. In 1972, for a little over $1000, you could get a standing or seated manneq...

Re: "REAL PEOPLE" (1979-1984) - segment on living mannequins

Alright, I may have a break on this. One of my real-world connections has been doing a lot of direct work with George Schlatter, and he said that he is digitizing everything, thus he told me that if there were segments I were looking for, I could ask him and probably get them. Obviously, not for pub...
