Ok so trading in private messages has been a problem and i know to some extent i'm hurting everyone for 1 or 2 peoples disregard for others.

but i won't just let it keep going and ignore it, Sorry i have to Break WHEATON'S LAW. i really don't want to but i can't sit here and do nothing.

SO If you want private message access and Are already a registered user ASk tell me why and we'll see. 90% of you will get it right away,

if you're new it's going to take some time i'm going to say at least 15 posts or a REALLY DAMN GOOD REASON. but still ask but keep in mind i may say wait.....

believe me the last thing i want it to Put my ADMIN foot down and turn the car around... but there a line, i ask people don't cross and some did so now i have to act.

i am looking for other things to fix the problem so i reserve the right to change my mind. one of them would put the mail system back to the way it was, but allow me to read your e-mail.

as things are now you can send but not read

if your name is Blue like this you Can send but NOT read if your name is Cyan like this you can send and read

Well, I apparently missed the shitstorm that blew up a few days ago, so I missed a LOT! How did this happen?

I was wondering, wouldn't it make more sense to "read but not send" if the problem is a spam pirate? That would remove their ability to send out unsolicited trade messages, but you could still receive PMs if someone wanted to start an email correspondence.

yes But i Went the other way because anyone can still send mail to admin's, mod's and producers. so anyone can still send the "love your work" or "what a request here my e-mail" and "i'm got a problem" private messages.

WOW, some people really like to ruin it for others.... it sucks that it has come to this, but the producers NEED to be protected as they are providing a service to us. most of the members here follow the rules, but you will ALWAYS find a bad apple in the basket. not removing it will rot the whole basket...two thumbs up to you Lord Hypno.
