I like Nikki Brooks and have seen some nice freeze stuff from her.. I really don't want to say the name of this clips4sale poster ( As I wish them the best of luck with sales) .. but it's category is freeze and there is no freeze element in the videos.. I keep hoping.. but.. (sigh)

I believe I know what you are referring to. To hazard a guess, I think the for this producer, the term 'freeze' has entered a gray area, of meaning entranced or controlled, but then even that element only needs to feature ever so slightly, and "Freeze" is included as a tag or category.

As to the why, could be a mix of them not knowing better, as well as trying to reach as wide an audience as they can. Following a custom I ordered a few months ago, she has been happy to produce several films that fall into varying levels of satisfying the freeze/asfr fetish, but these have all been of her own volition, with no incentive or financial compensation other than the sales to be made upon completion. So I've tried to see it as they've recognized the potential of the freeze genre to sell well, but are still trying to accommodate as many fetishes as they can when not tied to a script or fulfilling pre-paid customs.

The issue I've encountered, is that sometimes the inclusion or embracing of other elements, decreases the freeze content to a minimal if not even unsatisfactory level. Some times, a single 10-30 second clip from a longer film can make the whole 15 minutes worth it. I've justified purchases this way, while feeling let down by the actual amount of freeze content, one moment or shot can be enough to validate it for me. My wish, is that an awareness can be made of these moments: what makes for a great freeze fetish film, and how can this become the focus? Imagine if those 15 minute videos were 14 minutes of satisfactory freeze content, with one minute of fluff, instead of being 14 minutes of fluff, with 1 minute of really on-the-money freeze content.

I think we've been lucky to have had producers create content that also personally engage with the fetish (both Stuckfast and Nickel Dakota I would guess fall into this category). You can tell when the producer 'gets it', vs when they are purely going off of what they think the audience likes. Maybe even like sex. I don't mean to ruffle any feathers and mean no offense to anyone non-binary, but purely for the sake of an example: a man can describe to a woman what feels good during sex, just as a woman can describe to a man. But a man won't know what it feels like to have his clit rubbed, nor a woman know what it's like to have her dick sucked. The better the communication, the better the end results.

I've tried to reach out to do exactly this. I've offered script ideas, and have attempted to be explicit so as to try and ensure the freeze elements are executed properly and effectively. I've included polls from this site, trying to offer not just my personal tastes, but true and blue desires the majority of us adhere to. But with no financial exchange being made, it is still the producer's choice to take creative liberties, and she has done just that, incorporating other fetishes, tweaking things to try and make them more accessible, I imagine.

I can only offer the suggestion that if enough of us reach out, purely with feedback and positive reinforcement, a shift in the quality of content may be achievable. I think when it comes down to it, it's a numbers game. If any producer thinks the numbers make sense to create specific freeze content, at the cost of forfeiting other fetishes, then surely they will do so. But the only way those numbers will reflect that, is if the content they create is desirable enough that a lot of pounce, and scoop them up. That ASFR content has to be on the money, and the only way they can know how to do that, is by either having the fetish themselves, or being told by the fanbase.

And let's not deny that even as a community, plenty of differences in tastes exist between members. Some people prefer hardcore, some avoid it, some enjoy awareness, being trapped in an un-moving body, while others prefer pure stasis, unblinking. Others still enjoy any or all of the above, different ties for different occasions.

I've tried to focus on the good. Yes, the content does not always hit home, but no one is paying her to make it. She is paying models and crew for their time, and making the videos she thinks we'll enjoy. She can only know what we tell her, whether through sales, or actual written feedback. I'd much rather have someone attempting the fetish and missing, than not attempt at all. And she IS receptive to feedback. She recognizes that we the fans know the subject matter best, and she's willing to hear what we want. We've been lucky to have producers take similar steps, and it almost always has garnered better content (in my opinion).

Here is a quote from a post I made in early June when sharing a video she made with Nikki Brooks, titled Date Night:

"If anyone wants to leave feedback for her latest films, I can pass it along, she is keen to continue making freeze themed films. I think she has the means to put out some really solid work, but also can sometimes miss the mark on some aspects, so if anyone wants to take the time to articulate what she could be doing better, definitely post here and let me/her know!"

I did not hear back from anyone, but by no means is it too late. Yes, it's easy to lurk, or follow along, but I recently faced the music this year, of deciding the only way I would see content that truly delivered what "I" wanted, would be by ordering a custom, and it was the best decision. Here we have an option to simply speak up, and we can be heard without putting any money on the line, so let's take it!

Asfrmaster encouraged me to reach out after several follow-up films were released unprompted that I adored. So huge credit there. Asfrmaster told me in so many words what I've tried to express here, and I can only agree, as well as thank him for helping me do so unabashedly. If this incredibly long response hasn't already tipped everyone off, I've taken quite a personal investment in wanting to see Cory (there I said it!) do well. If for no other reason than the fact she has seemed so willing to embrace the content and give it repeated tries. I plan to try and maintain correspondence, and maybe even act as an advocate in the way Jay does with Girls Gone Hypnotized, which I have the utmost respect for, and goes back to my point of improved content being released following more direct feedback/discussions with us the fans.

So please! If anyone has any thoughts, concerns, or ideas, and wants to be heard, please post! Email her directly, or even PM me and I will pass it along!

And if anyone wants, I can recommend which films of hers lately I've thought have turned out better than others, or at least approach them from a best bang for your buck point of view. Given time, I could break them down with freeze specific details, as the clip descriptions aren't always the most telling. I've purchased clips before (in general, from other producers) and felt deceived by the amount of freeze content. While other times, I've finally pulled the trigger on ones I held off on not expecting much, only to find included freeze content not even MENTIONED in the description, which otherwise would have had me purchase it instantly.

TLDR: She is making content of her own free will, and will happily hear our feedback to make better films! When it comes to it, it's really just a numbers game.

I have personally ordered customs from Cory in the past and have been thoroughly impressed with the work produced. It was to my exact specifications.

The videos may not suit everyone, but if you are not willing to pay for your own custom then you can't complain when it doesn't fit your "exact" means.

One thing I do not like. Is when she posts videos with the freeze tag, when it has zero freeze content. I think this is just a way of tricking people into buying extra clips in the hope of finding freeze content.

I absolutely agree on this point. I'll bring it up when I contact her next.

Juva.. has hot it on the head... with what I was talking about.. There is a "freeze" tag.. yet the video seems to have no freeze content at all. From reading the description and / or watching the short clip.
I have purchased some really nice Nikki Brooks freeze stuff. But now there is so much tagged with freeze.. yet seems to be none.

This is just another way of a producer trying to reach a broader audience; they’ll falsely tag a clip with freeze to draw more traffic in hopes of selling more clips. I watched this unfold with the mannequin challenge craze; as soon as the trend blew up, every attention-hungry tramp on instagram started tagging their twerk / dance / modeling videos with #mannequinchallenge. Their posts had absolutely nothing to do with the mannequin challenge, but now they had a way of reaching a broader audience by hitching onto the band wagon. When I was searching for mannequin challenge clips, I might go through 100+ unrelated clips before finding a relevant one. Welcome to social media folks… :(
