There's a trending topic on Twitter called #MannequinChallenge. It's mostly high school and college kids pretending to be frozen. Just search it on Twitter and you'll see tons of videos.

Oh... this is just too awesome.

On Instagram too, plus a few on Youtube.

Here's hoping this blows up and some grown ups get in on it, as they usually do with such trends (perhaps even some celebs!)

They must have turned it to private, if you just search Mannequin Challenge on youtube youll get a bunch. That link I posted was a compilation of clips.

Anyone who wants to link some of the better vids here, that would be great!

And just so you know, I've already started tweeting celebrities I follow about doing the challenge. lol

Good idea. Might be worth dropping a line to some high profile youtubers as well.

At the moment, it's unfortunately mainly just high school kids, but we can hope that adults get in on this, as they eventually do with a trend.

Ive caught some news anchors and morning shows doing it as well. Man I have so many videos to go through that I am saving.

Also I recommend that if you find a good one, you save it or rip it from the source. Twitter vids, vine, etc those type of videos have a way of disappearing quickly.

yeah the longest ones seem to be around 2 mins. but there are some really good ones out there. (a lot I probably shouldnt post. lol)

Well, I'm going to turn in for the night. Today I managed to download 162 videos today from twitter and youtube(and not the compilation vids).

Needless after looking for and watching all these vids, needless to say....I am exhausted. lol

I'm having a hard time downloading things off twitter. My video grabber isn't recognizing them and when I finally hunt down the URL and get it that way, the vids seem to be of lower quality. What are you guys using to grab these?

"twitter video assist" is an extension on chrome that works really well.

Thanks for the heads-up on the Twitter Video Assist, Jay. (I wish I knew that ten hours ago!) I finally got up after pulling an all-nighter with this crap. If I was to pick a fav so far, it would be the women's volleyball team in the UWW locker room, (specifically the backstage pass view @ 00:30 ). https://youtu.be/K0m5iqwoWgk I've found more by typing "mannequin challenge" in parenthesis in the search bar on Facebook and try "DESAF??O DEL MANIQU??" or just "El Manniqui" for alternative search results.

On the strip club vids: Just imagine a "Mannequin Challenge Night" w/ dancers from opposing clubs challenging each other to a "freeze off" ...They would be judged on originality, most provocative or outrageous pose, and how long they could actually hold their poses before breaking out of character, etc... I picture patrons "making it rain" with dollar bills slowly drifting down and accumulating around their frozen bodies

I'm sure this can open the door for the ladies on clips4sale to create videos based on stories people write about this "mannequin challenge" craze.
But I would prefer them to pose more "mannequin-like" if its a true "mannequin challenge".
