moment in Bergman's FANNY & ALEXANDER

Finally caught up with the lovely Ingmar Bergman epic FANNY & ALEXANDER, and besides being one of the Great Movies, I was pleasantly surprised to see a little living statue action in the opening prologue, a bit of magical realism in a story where God and ghosts are constant.

Cued up a clip to where we first see what is probably an actual statue and young Alexander gazing, followed by the living performer. Maybe experts can look closer and say for sure if it's a person in both shots:
