Dollhouse
This past week's episode opened with a freeze scene that was worth checking out. The opening scene showed a serial killer who kidnapped several women and used some paralyzing drugs to freeze them into place and pose them into a tableaux of a family playing croquet.
Re: Dollhouse
LIke tonight's? Because the one from last week didn't open that way.
What am I missing?

Re: Dollhouse
HD torrent below. I thought there would be more than the opening scene but I didn't see anything else when paging through the file. Still a great opening scene though.

Re: Dollhouse
Why would she ask to be killed, when she knew someone would come for her?
She should have told those women to inject her with the freeze syrum...turning her into an on-screen statue until her rescue. It would have been HOT.
On a different note, what kind of struggling actress takes a role as a frozen helpless mannequin on TV? Never mind...it probably pays pretty good to just hold a pose for 5 mins on TV.

Re: Dollhouse
Unfortunately, it wasn't a freezing serum, per se... Merely ketamine, which paralyzed them, like rag dolls. The posing was done with some sort of framework...
Now if it had been a drug that induced catatonic schizophrenia, or more specifically, waxy flexibility ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waxy_flexibility ), then it could have been touted as a freezing serum, a la "Gina's Long Second" (one of my personal faves!) or one of many others involving such concoctions...
Still, Ketamine actually exists, so the writers went that route rather than coming up with pseudo-scientific technobabble to explain the scene... Dollhouse already has plenty of that anyway...
