Chica Vampiro

Post by GSX »

According to the internet, there is a character on the Columbian TV show "Chica Vampiro" named "Zaira Vangoria" who has timestop powers.

Has anyone seen this show? Can anyone confirm?

"Susana Posada as Zaira Fangoria, Vampire for over 100 years. Mirco's best friend. She loves him deeply and hopes that some time he will pay attention to her. She is coordinator and professor in the school of vampires. She sings and dances very well. She is bold, cool, noble.
Her power: can leave humans and vampires on pause, like statues, and is learning to turn back time.[citation needed] " From the wiki page.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLweoPwy6us I chose that episode at random the first freeze i noticed occurred at approx the 36:30 mark at a school dance. At first it looked like a cheap freeze frame then there was a brief walk through the frozen people scene followed by a "mind controlled" dance scene where the "bad" vampires are forced to dance.

Most if not all episodes seem to be up on youtube.

The show is like a nauseating blend of Saved By the Bell,Sabrina the The Teenaged Witch and any daytime soap opera, I found the first freeze if anyone else wants to tackle this show there is likely more to be found.

As for me im going to get a drink of gin or twenty to wash this show out of my head

I know there's been a lack of freeze content lately but please for your own sanity, do not do this.

Well, Im 1 through 10, and besides the above mentioned freeze, nothing.

I'll just say that although I cant understand a word thats being said on this show, this has to be the worst thing I have ever seen. Its like Glee but with super cheesy vampires.

I think i just lucked out on the one episode i picked at random, i think the other problem is i'm pushing 45 years old and this was just too headache inducing to watch.

And with the choreography of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video tossed in for good measure.

back at it today..

These people on this show really piss me off. They have all the problems and situations normal for teenagers, yet they never use there powers(time freeze, mind control, telekinesis) to fix them. You would think being able to freeze(and reverse) time would solve a lot of problems.

Ooooh no....lets sing a fucking song instead...

I gotta tell you Jay, you are a champ. I'm Colombian and I just can't stand that crap. The only thing more infuriating than telenovelas, are teen telenovelas. Thank you for your service sir

Thanks Jay!

I guess now we have to go back to waiting for the people who are uploading Septima Puerta episodes to finally get to the one with the freeze premise.

Fuckin' septima puerta. I'm gonna let you in on a personal anecdote. I hope you people don't go crazy sorting through "third world's ultra lame x-files shitfest". A long time ago I was chatting with a friend about how much 'so-bad-its-good' this program is. Since my friend was in college, she had a schedule when she could watch it and I couldn't 'cause I was at work. Anyway, she's describing plots when she comes with "Oh and the funniest one was these one where a guy had a totem that could stop time and he uses it to rob people, until he loses his mind for a girl, so he stops time, carries her to his home and dresses her like a doll..." I'm like "   oh yeah, that's super lame haha". Unfortunately that was on the program's first iteration, more than 10 years ago, so it's going to be really hard to find (or at least I've tried searching every single Spanish word that could loosely relate to the plot without any luck).
And that's for TV that you can find online. I remember so many shows with timestop/mind control plots when I was a kid. There was another vampire-like telenovela back in the 80s, it was a mix-up between vampires and the Addams family. On an episode they were having some kind of inspector (hot female) visiting their house so they wanted to be in their best behavior, but they got a visit from a couple of (hot, female) vampire hunters that arrived with crucifixes and holy water they were causing a huge mess so the vampire family sort of hypno-freezes both, the vampire hunters and the inspector, sits them all on a couch, fixes their hair and makeup and brainwashes them all. Man that show was good, I wish video recording equipment were as available those days as it is today

Yeah I'm subscribed to a few people who have been slowly uploading Puerta episodes so if they ever do upload the doll episode I'll know.
