Pretty Vacant comic series

Post by zapped! » Fri Mar 16, 2012 12:11 pm

Fans of the 'Pretty Vacant' ASFR-themed comic can look forward to another addition to the series. I'm told that copies will be printed in time for WonderCon and will be available to the general public thereafter. Here's a promo clip from the Pretty Vacant blogspot.

Just thought I'd let ASFR fans know that 'Final Repose part 2', the follow-up to part 1 in the 'Pretty Vacant' comic book series is now available. The first run of 150 sold out and John had additional copies printed off. The series was initially inspired by 'Kiss the Girls and Make Them Die' - (a 60's Bond spoof involving scenes of women being cryo frozen). Four issues later, this comic has since taken on a life of it's own. Final Repose Part II stays true to the original theme and the art work is comparible to issues in the past. Those interested can contact John through his 'Pretty Vacant Thoughts' blog spot to purchase a copy.

Just wanted everyone to know that "London Calling" - the latest edition to the popular 'Pretty Vacant' comic series - is now available to the public. I recently got my copy in the mail and it delivers the goods. This storyline features the usual plastination technique as well as dabbling in a little hypnosis. Tekka's artwork is also a welcome addition. My only (minor) complaint in the past was that some of the female renders looked a little too muscular or "blocky" but there's plenty of soft feminine curves in this one. A good read for those of you that are jonesing for some fresh ASFR-themed material in between updates on the LTBSA. You can get a hold of John for ordering info at his Pretty Vacant Thoughts blog spot here: http://prettyvacantthoughts.blogspot.co ... -2012.html

In the mean time, here's a little taste of Gigi being entranced by a phone:

For fans of ASFR/Action comics - John Villalino's Pretty Vacant: London Calling 2 is now available. If you weren't able to catch up with him at Comic Con and you're a fan of his writing, or if you enjoy Tekka's freeze related artwork, then send John (cjmaker) a PM on here or look him up on his Pretty Vacant Thoughts blog to snag yourself a copy. http://prettyvacantthoughts.blogspot.com/

The most recent installment of ???Pretty Vacant??? is now available for ASFR comic fans. This time around, our fearless Gigi is replicated in plastic before being cryogenically frozen. She???s set down beside an equally solidified Mindy Soong, and the pair are about to be shipped off to Hong Kong. John Villalino provides yet another great storyline, with Daniel Vega handling over 28 pages of imaginative artwork. This episode has a noticeable ???Kiss the Girls and Make Them Die??? vibe to it, with scenes of giant clamps moving stasis tubes about, (Mindy???s pose even mimics that of Wilma Soong after she???s cryogenically frozen in the 1966 movie). There are plenty of blank stares and flying kicks, with some moments of humor thrown in for good measure. If you???re interested in purchasing a copy of 'Pretty Vacant - Hong Kong Bound' get ahold of John on his Pretty Vacant Thoughts Blog or shoot him an email: http://prettyvacantthoughts.blogspot.com/

The latest issue of the popular 'Pretty Vacant' comic series Tijuana Special - is now available to the public. I received my copy earlier in the week and it still holds up to past editions. This latest adventure starts out at the ???POW! Fest Comic Convention??? where the Cosplay Cutie Contest has just concluded. The top three contestants are then whisked away for an Aqua-Vesa meet & greet, where they are secretly drugged and then disappear. Gigi Gutirez & Mindy Soong agree to be frozen in order to be smuggled across the Mexican border so they can look into the missing contestants whereabouts. Will they save the day, or simply be cloned & plastinated and used for advertising fodder? Read & find out! You can email John Villalino on his blog for a copy: https://www.blogger.com/profile/04272359743887997036
