This TV series is a LOT like the mannequin movie ...

Suenos y Caramelos .... there is a LOT of episodes and there is a character in this show that is a mannequin that comes to life and switches back to a mannequin ... she's HOT and my hats off to the way they did this. They really made her look like the mannequin and the mannequin REALLY looks like her. They put makeup on her to give her that plastic look in the live sequences. The only down side is that you have to skip past all the other parts of the show. But boy some of the episodes there's a HUGE(!!!!!) payoff in my opinion. This has to be one of the best done videos where they make the mannequin REALLY look like the real person so it really gives you the sense that she really does switch from being a mannequin to a live person .... here's a quick video of one episode that I just found:

Enjoy! There's lots of episodes of this show ... the only downfall is that you have to sift through the episodes to get to the mannequin scenes.

Thanks. This show's name has popped up a few times before on this board. Do you by any chance have any kind of rudimentary list of which parts have scenes worth mentioning? There have a been a few clips shared on this board from the past, but I have no idea what episodes they were taken from. From what I've seen, this telenovela is extremely loooonng.

Someone's youtube channel had a bunch of them sliced up in smaller pieces. I watched quite a bit last night. It kind of depends on what part of the mannequin/freezing arena you prefer (Some people prefer the model live action freezing, some people prefer the mannequin transformation sequences, some people like the mannequin scenes, etc.) in deciding which parts of the series you like. I like the mannequin scenes where they show close ups and move the mannequins around, also the transformation scenes as well as the scenes where it shows the gal get into mannequin position. If you're into the freeze model part, there's a lot more because there's a lot of scenes where she freezes for a few seconds.

One thing that's amazing about this series is how really close the mannequin looks like the gal. They do a great job of the transformation scenes as well. This is one of the *very* few videos where you really do get the sense that she really does transform to a mannequin and back, like she *really* is that mannequin, because the mannequin looks so much like her. This is so rare you don't see that stuff any more.

I knew about this TV show a long time ago, but never really took the time to go through and try to find the mannequin stuff (I didn't think they'd continue the mannequin stuff throughout the series lifetime), but boy was I surprised to find they kept the mannequin stuff going. So great!!!! In my mind this is a true treasure
