I dont have a VR unit, so I would be curious from someone with a VR setup to know how this video is.

I don't have this specific movie, but I've got the one mentioned here and a couple more, and let me tell you, VR is the closest you can get to the real thing. All you need is a relatively decent smartphone (preferably with a screen at least 5.5 inch size), some VR goggles such as these and a VR app (the paid version of Mobile VR Station worked great for me, here's the android and iphone versions). After that you need to tweak the app a little to find the 3D format that works for the videos (Japan AVs work usually in the "180 top/down" mode). What I've done is I store the videos on my google drive (so I don't fill my phone with 2-3 porn movies  ) and stream them from there. After that experience I'm seriously considering buying an HTC vive because it's really damn good, even with my super cheap VR goggles and a small phone screen. A couple caveats: For one VR is very, very intensive with the phone's processor and battery, it can drain your juice in less than a a couple of hours and make it hot enough to risk damaging the phone if you get carried away. Second, if you're photosensitive, prone to seizures or prone to dizziness/seasickness don't use VR 'cause you're gonna have a bad time, specially with movies with wild motions, such as 3D rollercoaster videos and the like.
