Category Restructure Suggestion

Hi - what do you all think about the media-related categories on this message board being organized to distinguish between porn-related movie/tv/youtube finds and non-sex-related finds?

For me personally, when I click on the Movies or TV forum categories I am hoping to find posts about freeze scenes that have nothing to do with sex or pornography. What do you all think?

To be honest. The thread titles should give enough of a clue to what it is.

I mean a title like "Fuck Time Bandits IV" is going to be pretty obvious.

movies = porn
tv and youtube = pure freeze
that's how it is most of the time.

While I am sympathetic to the suggestion-because,like Stuckfast,I have no interest in pornographic freeze scenes-it has gotten to the point where I have a pretty good idea if a scene is going to contain pornographic content depending on the source.This being the case,I simply ignore those sources.

I'm so selective of what links I click on anyway, so it's not really a big deal for me.

Pretty much the only things I'll click on are ones from:

A) YouTube

B) Stuff from HypnoGold, Cali, or a couple of others on Clips4sale

C) Nickel Dakota

D) And, of course, you, Stuckfast (Speaking of which, it's been a while. Anything in the works?)

Maybe you could allow people to add tags to the titles of the threads. A NSFW tag could be for porn/nudity threads, if used, another tag wouldn't even be needed. :D

I am in favor of a tag that would distinguish porn from non porn. I have to disagree that a movie equals porn and tv equals pure freeze because we go back and forth and have several movies that not only have no sex in them, but some have no nudity in them! so saying all movies are porn is rubbish.

Also someone said that they don't check sources that contain porn...if this person didn't know we make some porn and some non-porn then he would be missing out on all our projects that he might be interested in because of a predisposition based on a mistaken belief....I wouldn't mind having NSFW tags.

Although on another point...Many of the producers who put out content on the regular are doing so as a business...and if a non-sexual movie doersnt sell.....its a good chance that they wont be making many of them. At least thats how it is for us and a few of our friends who are fetish producers. We tend to go where the sales are as they help us to continue producing.

I would suggest that if we do install a tag system and you find a non-porn movie from a company you don't buy from you should show some support. If not by buying the movie then by contacting them and expressing your happiness that you found that product. it helps producers to gauge where the potential interest is when you let them know what you want.

i can turn on icons or when making a new post a simple #NSFW at the start of the title would work also plus it would help when searching for stuff. I'm easy going let me know and i'll do my best to make it happen

NN = none nude
N = nude
SC = soft core
HC = hard core
4 basic tags, that should easily help people find what they want.

Are the Post icons the ones that were just turned on? I see the Image, which could mean NSFW but I also like the simple tag idea for making searches easier.

Very good point. There's probably a lot of lost potential because people don't speak up to producers when there's a growing interest in something though this place is pretty good with voicing things. :D

I suppose what I meant was... I think there should be two Movies categories -- "Mainstream Movies", which would have posts about freeze scenes found in any feature films that are not pornography, and then an "Adult Movies" category for movies like the Japanese timestop stuff, which are all pornographic.

I think it is a good, simple solution. I think this can be WAY over thought.

Independent producers can use whatever tags work for them get their work out in the most targeted way.

...but I am an omnivore so take my suggestion for what it is worth. I love it all and check out everything.
