Alpha House Sex freezes?

Freeze is a strong word but it kind fits for a short scene in the last episode of Season 2 of the Amazon series Alpha House.
Background of the scene is that a super religious couple wants to soak (the man is inside her but no movement whatsoever!!!) instead of sex cause of damnation. The scene starts at 3:07 and there are moments when they talk but it was a nice surprise to see on the show.
