As mentioned in my other post in offsite news, I'm curious where the majority lies, and if there will be a benefit to releasing multiple versions of films to suit different tastes.
Dark Fantasy Example - The protagonist actively freezes the subject, with the intention to take advantage of them once frozen. Can also be more sinister, with permanent implications, and such.
Light Fantasy Example - The protagonist is not responsible for freezing the subject, but still comes across them, and cautiously embraces into the situation, unable to resist.
Personally, I love both, and may even lean to the dark side, but I also recognize that depends heavily on my ability to separate fantasy from reality, and right from wrong. Our fetish can certainly draw up some moral questions when talked about in certain contexts, which I'm sure many of us have witnessed.
Any additional thoughts or feedback is welcome!

Re: Poll - Do you prefer a light or dark fantasy?
I voted neutral because sometimes I like a bit of both and sometimes light or darkakoof wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 12:10 pm As mentioned in my other post in offsite news, I'm curious where the majority lies, and if there will be a benefit to releasing multiple versions of films to suit different tastes.

I'm firmly in the light camp - dark has too many uncomfortable elements for me.

I agree with you, I'm 100% in the light field, of course, something a little more "heavy", I'm still fine, but something pulled a lot to the "dark", I personally don't like it very much.Corey Fantoccini wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 9:06 pm I'm firmly in the light camp - dark has too many uncomfortable elements for me.

I appreciate the feedback a lot. As an aside, I think I should have made the poll allow to select all options you enjoy, but the results are still telling from our little pocket community here. And hey, the advantage of chiming in when there are few voices is that you're more likely to actually be listened to.Corey Fantoccini wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 9:06 pm I'm firmly in the light camp - dark has too many uncomfortable elements for me.
So far I've shot in a way that allows me to use POV narration to drive the story, which can be substituted out for alternate versions. With that, I'll be sure to keep light, but I think I'll also upload some darker versions based on the poll. That way people can choose their preference. In the future I'll also make a point to upload both at the same time (or at least schedule them publicly) so someone in one camp doesn't have to settle for the other.
Once I move on to shoot additional forms to POV, I'll have to choose whether a scene will be lighter or darker anyway with off-screen narration no longer making sense. Perhaps I'll ping-pong back and forth, but it's still early to be making such decisions

The way the results unfolded were quite interesting, it seems the more active users prefer neutral/dark stuff but less active users prefer light stuffakoof wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 6:41 pmI appreciate the feedback a lot. Re: Poll - Do you prefer a light or dark fantasy?
Yes, I agree. It looked at first like dark fantasies may have even had the majority of votes, but light certainly seems to be the preferred. I'll continue to seek feedback as I go along. I have a light-themed shoot I'll be uploading soon that I think may be the best I've done yet. Following that I'll make a post about customs, and then anyone will have the means to choose a light or dark themed story.
Currently I have three models who are willing to schedule and shoot customs at any notice (Deanna, Helena, and Monica who I just shot with). If anyone is already interested for more details, feel free to shoot me an email at akoofkoof@gmail.com. Otherwise details will be posted on this board and emailed out before the end of the year.
And a huge thanks to everyone who has supported me already!
