Unfortunately my hosting company has decided to raise their rates by a thousand percent it's gone from $60 a year to $600 a year and I'm no longer willing to pay that so unless someone wants to host the board and Take Over Control it looks like this is going to disappear sadly

I wouldn't mind throwing in a twenty if we could somehow wrangle up other donators.

Yeah, so many active users on here. It won't be hard to raise the money to keep it going. It seems live moving it will be tough since we might lose the massive archive that's here of old posts. Count me in to donate.

EDIT: Nevermind, I remembered where. Seeing the price increase is shocking. Sounds like they want to evict small sites. If someone were willing to take on the migration, $60/yr on Linode might be suitable.

I volunteer to make the moving to Linode, DigitalOcean or OVH, all of them offer plans that fall on the 60USD/year, also willing to donate to make it happen (may have some credit on Linode from last consulting job)...

So heartbroken to hear about this. I've been coming to this forum since 2005 when i was still a teen.
Discord has always been a site that I've had trouble navigating. I guess its time i learn more about it.


What about the MC forum (mcforum.net)?? Is it possible they can help us. Maybe they can create a couple of sub threads for us?
