MIAB-427 school timestop
Re: MIAB-427 school timestop
First up, thank you as always, yendis!
Alright, I'm torn on this one. On the one hand, it does a lot of stuff I like: protagonists aren't horribly creepy, no big gross-out moments (been running into that more and not a fan of that), and while it's a 'big cast but only a few girls get messed with', the girls are all cute. We get 3 girls with 2 guys.
Freezing is... okay. So the extras wiggle a lot. Main girls also tend to have a kind of dull expression a lot. Some of the overall stiffness though, not bad. Kind of feels like they're hypnotized into a freeze-like stupor at points, so if you like total freezing and not that sort of thing, this may not be for you.
I think this is the first time we've seen a MIAB timestop? Honestly, while not the best, if they can get some better freezers with some more interesting poses, hot damn, they could churn out gold. I don't think this is gold, but I appreciate it for what it is. I know a bunch of 'one guy who messes with one girl' scenarios that are way less enjoyable.

Re: MIAB-427 school timestop
Sorry for my late review. I got really sick recently because of the rapidly fluctuating weather.
Anyway, I agree with Zero. The main girls are really good-looking, and while the camera angles could still be better, they aren't anywhere near HSODA levels of bad. I'm sorry, I'm really bitter and pissed at Korosuke, the director of the HSODA series and one from Hunter, as I feel like I got scammed for buying some movies that I thought would have been nice, but ended up being utter garbage.
Here's my take on it, though: I'm not sold at the fact that the TS element has a "delay", though I think it was just a matter of how this was executed. Perhaps if the actor said the keywords, and the actresses would appear confused or in mid-motion before the effect took place, this would've been much better.
Another minus, for me, is that when the TS is released, their "confused/shocked" reactions are VERY VERY bland. I get that this is p0rn, but come on, really? One moment you're talking normally with your friends, then the next second, you're like, "oh. my skirt is up and my shirt is unbuttoned. hmm." This kinda takes away a bit from the situation, but again, this might just be me thinking this.
Anyway, I still think this is among the watchable ones, but I wouldn't go crazy over this. I'd give this a 3 out of 5 (average).
What I'm really looking forward to seeing is the one with Minamo, though again, I'm kinda iffy about having a literally dirty, old man going at it with her.
@Zero:
There were a few TS films from Moodyz, like the ones with Hikaru Minazuki, cosplayers, and the "Stopman" live-action version. Hikaru's was among the better ones, while the latter two were kinda meh for me. The Stopman thing would've been nice if there were much better angles.
off-topic, I seriously don't understand why these directors allow the cameramen to focus the camera only on the breasts, genitals, armpits, etc., even on the ugly mug of the male actor, when they are primarily spending money to hire the actress and not feature her facial expression. I mean, groping? Stripping? Even armpit/feet/boob-licking can be given a bit of focus, but not a full 10-15 minutes of just that + the once again ugly face and expressions of the actor. Many successful TS films had those elements, but still captured the unchanging facial expression of the actress in the same scene. I don't see how that's a difficult thing to pull off...
