Let's not be TOO picky. We're lucky this is even a thing, and, like planking and the Harlem Shake, it's not gonna last forever.

we need to do something to influence that this does in fact, last forever. :-)

so many cheerleaders....yeah im probably going to hell. lol

I don't have a problem being too picky. I taught models before and am confident other material will come around here and there.

There seems to be an abundance of accounts already that are just copying other people's clips and then reposting them as their own, (which is typical youtube BS  ). You almost have to go on Instagram, Flipagram, Twitter, etc. - anything other than youtube to find fresh ones.

Happy hunting people!

Scathing interviews all around for everyone responsible. I plead the fifth, unless Megyn Kelly is involved ...Then I might ask for an impromptu example!

She does have a rather bedazzled look on the news every once-in-a-while:

Destinys Child(Beyonce) doing the challenge is good for many reasons. One of which is the exposure she is giving it to mainstream media. Hopefully more artist and celebs and such will follow.

I foresee making a youtube video in your future; Lord Hypno reveals how to shoot the ultimate Mannequin Challenge... A group of waitresses at Twin Peaks are striking poses in front of a selfie stick. Lord hypno instructs to turn the camera 90 degrees and they suddenly freeze in place. He approaches the foursome, prying the stick away from one of the subject's outstretched hands as she retains her pose... An annoyed customer steps into the picture. "Miss? ...Miss ...the center of my wife's cheeseburger isn't fully cooked. (He waves a hand in front of waitresses eyes). The spoiled wife pushes him out of the way. "Hellooo? Is anyone in there? What is wrong with these bimbos?" The wife threatens to get the manager, only to find her frozen at her station as well...

The male customer continues to look at the waitresses with amusement. "How did you do that?"

"Easy: I just used the new Mannequin Challenge APP..."

"Um, honey, can you come here for a minute?"

...The scene slowly fades out as she steps in front of the phone.

Greatest.Trend.Ever.To the six high school students in Florida who started it all I say THANK YOU!!!!!(Although,in the interest of accuracy, given how elaborate many of the poses and videos are,it probably should be called either Freezing Time Challenge or Suspended Animation Challenge.)

I'd never heard of this challenge until I saw a spot about it from the Clinton campaign. It's promising and I've seen some good stuff but there's so many links that are already dead. I'm wondering if it's because people are posting creeping things in comments sections again and ruining it for the rest of us.
