I‘ve seen some freeze vids with Olive and agree, wonderful freeze subject.
Meanwhile I‘m still on Taylor roll. This time fifties stars.

Let‘s freeze Sophia Thomalla
Sophia was the German It-Girl, very pretty but also very arrogant. So it was a special joy to get her in front of our trusty camera. As she was uttering the immortal „no photos, who do you think you are“ it clicked and Sophia stopped in her tracks.
Now the stiff Sophia looked more goofy than arrogant. A look that suited her.
Even as we rolled her tongue back into her mouth, her puzzled look was priceless.
As we wheeled the rigid body into the museum, Sophia was looking totally mesmerized at nothing in particular.

When we opened the storage room Sophia looked as pretty and out of it as we left her.
Cute and funny. But we had to go with something more presentable. Let’s perk her silly face up.
That’s it. But how to pose you? Hmmmm.
After all a statuesque Sophia Thomalla would’ve somebody the people would pay to see.

German Models 1
A thing every wax museum needs is some pretty models. Our natural first choice was supermodel Toni Garn. After one click and pinch on the forehead she fell stiff on the bad, staring at nothing. Result.
As we dragged Toni into the museum she cutely looked rather puzzled.
After we made her up she looked like this. Yes, we really enjoyed her puzzled expression, so we kept it.
For the presentation we just had to get Toni out of her clothes. What’s next?

To balance things after this bonanza of blonde we needed to go the darker side.
Luckily we caught Next top model winner Sara Nuru while she was eating. Funny pouty face and crossed eyes.
When Sara was prepped up in the make up chair her goofy look was still in full flight.
As we wheeled Sara to the showroom she remained completely unfazed by this turn of events.
Let’s do something artistic, shall we?

Into The Land Down Under, Part 1
Australia is a place I’d always wanted to visit. Not just for the sites, sounds, and smells, but for the women. I had to say that I’d never heard of Phoebe Tonkin before a few weeks ago. But I was glad my ignorance was corrected.
I got Caroline to work her magic.
And had a little fun getting her in front of my camera.

Which version of Phoebe do you think should be the first addition in the Australian museum?

Thanks zapped (and Brian, too). Toni was a really great subject. So here are some classic faces and poses.

Australian Trek Continues, Part 1
My first encounter with an Aussie beauty was such a success that I began my next search immediately. My research led me to Adelaide Kane. I found the brunette beauty in a coffee shop. My flash froze her and the rest of the world in place.
Caroline went to work and fixed her makeup.
I started with a simple but beautiful black dress.
And teased her hair a bit.

Australian Trek Continues, Part 2
We put Adelaide in the water where she shined. Her natural beauty couldn’t be contained.
We dried her off and got her ready for the next shoot.

I didn’t know if she’d modeled before, but she fit in anything. Casual...

Australian Trek Continues, Part 5
I placed Adelaide in her bed and took a few photos before I left. Once time restarted, our time together would be nothing more than a blip for her.
But for me, they’d be a lifetime of memories...

I love Adelaide Kane! She is so beautiful. Great choice. I don't know if you know this, but she does get turned to stone for a bit in Once Upon a Time.

One more with Toni
Toni had already been put in storage, but demand was so high that the doll got wheeled out for another round. For that we had to get her out of her plastic package.
Toni looked cute but a bit out of it.
A bit of mascara?
We put Toni on a rotating display for full pleasure.

That was a nice scene. And Adelaide is wonderful. So here is my take.
A package from Australia arrived. As we opened it, we were very happy to see the cute and totally stiff Adelaide Kane got sent over.
After we got he out of the plastic wrap, she goofily stared into nothingness. So sweet.
Some make up and Adelaide was ready for the museum.
What a beauty.

The next day we got a package from Austria. The fun of modern logistics and transportation. A neatly packaged Mirjam Weichselbraun stared at us.
After we had wrapped her out, she still stared cutely ahead, her mouth hanging open.
It was easy to perk Mirjam up for the museum.
And there she was all rigid and posed.

Another great find Heines! I loved your take on Adelaide too.
You gotta tell me where you found that 1st Of Adelaide and 3rd picture of Mirjam. I could not find the right search string to give me those looks!

Yes, both are great. One is from a search „woman wrapped in plastic.“
Original
Mirjam
The other A still from a creepy movie called „Jane doe“ or something.
Original
Adelaide

Yes! The Autopsy Of Jane Doe. A really scary movie! Thanks!
I’ve tried that string, but I’ll look around.
