Lili was my absolute favorite. Getting her display perfect was paramount. From head to toe. Getting her wardrobe was easy, but getting her poses right was another thing... Caroline rested her hand on my shoulder. “Let me her set up.” She went to work on her makeup. And after a bit of time, Caroline’s work was evident.

“Posing’s the most fun part,” Caroline said. “Let’s have fun with it.” “But I wanna play too,” she said as she opened Lili’s jacket.

Caroline emptied out her closet and through it on the bed. “She looks great in my costume, doesn’t she? I wanna get her to wear a few of them.” We stood Lili up as Caroline positioned her as a dancer. “I actually wear this one a bit too,” Caroline said with a smile. As I took a few shots of Lili against the sunlight, Caroline stripped her down to her underwear. “Get a shot of the two of us, will you?” Who was I to refuse?

A New Start, Part 6

I took a few more of the two together in some fantastic ideas that were all Caroline’s. “What can I say? I’ve got a bit of a naughty streak in me,” she said. After I set up my camera and changed lenses, Caroline had stripped Lili bare. She chose the last pose of the shoot. “It’s a perfect way to end,” she said. The only thing left for us was to toast on a job well done.

From Soap To Reality, Part 1

“Have you seen this?” Caroline asked me as she spun her laptop around and pressed play. I started laughing. The soap operas had started to use mannequins during the pandemic for social distancing, but “The Bold and the Beautiful” was the first one that actually used the mannequin as part of the storyline. And they had created one of their mannequins to be a near exact replica of one cast member.

“Who is the woman?” I asked. “According to her IMDB, it’s Annika Noelle,” she said.

I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen. “She is beautiful!”

“Yeah,” Caroline said. “But that mannequin isn’t. I think I could build a better one.” Before I could say anything else, Caroline beside in front of me with the beautiful actress standing in front of me, stopped in time. “You used the watch without me?” I asked.
“It was the only way to surprise you,” she said as she got up and took the frozen beauty’s face in her hand. “Shall we play a game?”

I got my camera while Caroline got to work getting Annika in position. We started with a few warm up shots.

“I always have trouble getting the eyes right when we start,” she said.

“That’s okay,” I said. “I actually kinda like it when they look a little off.” Caroline redressed Annika into a Barbie swimsuit. “It could be the cover photo for her display,” she said. And I took the idea to the next logical step. “We need to make a package for her.”

Not to be outdone, Caroline stepped in and got into creation mode. “I love posing them like dolls,” she said. “And I love dressing them up,” she said.

Before I could say anything, I blinked and she and Annika were ready. I blinked again and they were on the bed. “Before we shoot the next set,” Caroline said. “I wanna get her exfoliated from head to toe. Wanna help?”
Who was I to say no?

As we finished up, I put my arm around Caroline and held her close. We posed the frozen beauty in a few more poses and finalize our shots. We placed Annika down carefully as Caroline took me by the hand. We shut off the studio lights and headed for the bedroom.

Caroline gave me a smile. “What are you waiting for? Get your camera ready!” As Caroline set up Anne’s makeup. I got ready for the next set of photos.

“You’re right, honey,” Caroline said as she lead me up the steps. “It’s been a long time since we’d had some fun.”

She’d found out about a party in West Hollywood that would be full of stars and starlets. And after pressing down on the stopwatch, we maneuvered through the frozen mansion.

“So this is how the other half lives,” I said.

We agreed to split up so we search the expansive home easier. Since we were the only ones that could make any noise, it would be easy to find one another.

The hardest thing wasn’t trying to find our next subject, it was trying to narrow it down. Everyone was dressed to the nines. And the food was great too.

Then I heard Caroline call out to me. I followed her voice and saw her with a big smile on her face. “How about her?” Katherine McNamara was one of the new faces that caught my eye. Well, she was new to me. Caroline and I exchanged glances and off to work we went.

“Honey,” I said. “Aren’t you cold?”

Caroline laughed. “The pool is HEATED! Jump in and enjoy it with me.” After we frolicked in the water with Katherine for a bit, we got out and dried her off. “Her hair gets really frizzy,” she said. “Let me style her up before we shoot.” I stepped away to let her get things ready. And then, I heard the shower running. And when I turned the corner, there they all were. “Surprise! Guess who else I found at this party!”
