It is about a scarecrow named Worzel Gummidge, who is brought to life by Mr. Crowsman
Some of the regular characters are Aunt Sally, a lifelike doll that comes alive only to Worzel and the kids.
Saucy Nancy is a boat figurehead that also comes alive only to Worzel
