Good news: show uses freezing as a framing device to allow Don Cheadle to talk to the audience, and the show just happens to co-star Kristen Bell who does get frozen in the pilot

Bad news: not exactly a good shot of her and the freezes are pretty much entirely FX for practical reasons

Bright Side: Only one episode so far. Who knows what the future holds?

I made a clip using 3 choice scenes from the pilot. The other woman frozen is Dawn Olivieri, who also got frozen at least once on the 4th season of Heroes.

A couple in episode 2, once again one with Kristen Bell. Actually the second is interesting to me because when they freeze it looks like FX but if you watch how it happens they stop individually and he interacts with one of them.

Episode 3 only has one segment where there's freezing but trust me, you need to see this if you wanted to see Kristen Bell frozen properly. Yeah this one is live action and while she's not the focus (narrative device and all) she's interacted with while frozen this time, as are others.

I always hoped Kirsten Bell would get frozen in Heroes. I mean her dad's power was the ability to turn things to gold!

But she didn't and Heroes got a bit shit really.

Well, at least this looks promising. More live freezes like this last one and not that FX junk! (I could do that myself with a pause button!)

Just thought I'd point out that the ex-wife on the show is Dawn Olivieri, who was briefly frozen in season 4 of Heroes in the Thanksgiving episode. Her freezes haven't been live yet but two of them at least used FX so her hair would look naturally frozen...

thanks for the clips, however i should point out that something is wrong with the aspect ratio of the clips...they SHOULD be 16:9 ( 1:78:1 ) but they have been SQUISHED for some reason slightly vertically.

changing the aspect from 720x480 to 720x400 corrects the clips.

Hopefully this week's has the right ratio. Kristen Bell frozen again. FX freeze, but her ass was emphasized.
