Doctor Who had a new, sadly all too brief, freeze scene in today's episode, "The Bells of Saint John." If you don't want spoilers for the episode I suggest you stop reading now.




Seriously.

Okay, so now that hopefully no one will complain that I just casually spoiled anything, the villains of the week have basically hacked humanity's brains using Wi-Fi. At one point to demonstrate what they can do they freeze a caf??. Working on getting a clip of it... Sadly the cute new companion Jenna Louise Coleman doesn't end up frozen.

Today's episode, The Crimson Horror, features an evil wax plot. Jenna Louise Coleman ends up getting waxed.

Not really as good as it sounds, all though it was nice to see the real Emma Peel (and Mrs. James Bond) again.

The plot device is actually reminiscent of 'Kiss the Girls and Make Them Die', just not as sexy.

So not only did we get another brief freeze in this week's episode (bullet-time essentially, so fast but a cute pose none the less). Still I swear someone on the production team is secretly a freeze fan as a youtube prequel/teaser for the final episode of the season features both the doctor and companion talking to the other whilst said other is standing motionless, effectively frozen.
