Any freeze moments in the new X-Men to speak of?

Was wondering myself and saw this thread on the EMCSA right after the premiere. Not sure if you have to be a member these days to view it or not. From the description, it sounds like some innocent passerby's are "paused" through mind control to receive incoming instructions. There's supposed to be a few women involved, but the description is (purposely) rather vague. Would be very curious to hear another review if anyone else has seen it...

Not an X-Men fan, but the "paused through mind control" theme is a direct tie-in to the story I've been working on forever. Always good to have some fresh visuals for inspirational purposes. Lol!

There's plenty of reasons to go see this movie but freezing isn't one of them.
The young Xavier uses his powers a couple of times, and there's a character who moves so fast that time is virtually stopped for everyone else, but since this is 1973, only men are in those scenes.

Yes ... Jennifer Lawrence indeed.
Well that sucks. It almost sounded promising for a whole minute there.

I finally managed to see the movie and the scene where the speedy guy slows everything down... damn damn damn it was awesome even if it was stupidly all guys. The way they did it was just mind blowing, the speedy guy is running around the room getting hit with water droplets that just bounce around and stay in the air, he's moving peoples arms around taking guns out of hands and lifting people in the air. Screw you to hell 1970's for making that scene a sausage factory.
