Definitely unaware. Aware sounds like an absolutely horrifying experience for who ever is stuck in place/frozen.

Though if it's time stop, they won't be aware of anything anyway. :p

with reference to The Great Entropy, I slightly prefer "aware:
as potential "victim / heroine", I want to know what's going on;
but I also prefer being a mannequin, so "ongoing stuff" in my case is entering the display with becoming immobile, being undressed, being on display nude or in provocative lingerie on display, being fondled by curious customers or "colleagues" (i.e. just the stuff I would prefer anyway, but can better enjoy - while being frozen, while being helpless, there is no alternative to consider ...)

Once I'm on display, immobile and the shop closed, I prefer to be constantly aroused on the brink of a climax, not able to think clearly, just being an horny bimbo (nevertheless, I notice, when being redressed!) ...

Only for the kind of "finale" described below, I'm different:
After some temp assignments as "living mannequin", I become a permanent, real mannequin;
yet again I'm fully aware of entering the display, mounting the base plate, becoming hard and rigid plastic,
