Does anyone know of any youtube.com clips or any videos in general of women getting turned into objects (i.e., potted plants, garbage cans) or turning into animals in tradition to Bewitched.

Well, one of my holy grail clips is a commercial for carpet where an attractive woman mingles about with human-shaped carpet silhouettes, and at the end of the commercial she strikes a pose and through a dissolve turns into one of the faceless humanoid standees. I saw it as a child with tags on it for a local chain merchant (McSwain Carpets in Ohio), but I'm pretty sure this was a national spot for a major manufacturer that the local dealer merely edited down to put their own logo on.

I have not spotted it on YouTube, but ever since someone found the Timex zentai mannequins commercial that I had long sought, I hold out hope.

Reviving this long dormant thread since I have some better search information for this Holy Grail commercial.

The manufacturer was Armstrong, it was for their luxury carpet brand Evans Black, and I think it was for a specific offshoot they called "Tender Touch", because I definitely recall as the spokesmodel was cavorting with the carpeted figured, a voiceover artist was going on about the softness of the material.

Based on local newspaper advertising I found with iconography, I think the ad campaign began in January 1980 and probably ran in various markets for about six months after. I've gone through several 1980 TV advert blocks on YouTube from various cities but no luck yet. But if you happen to spot it, please give a heads up here!
