So far, freeze-wise, this show sems to be a dud. They seem to be taking the easy way out with all these timestop scenes. In the last episode (1.3) the casino timefreeze was seriously deficient of women. Even the cocktail waitress whom Hiro helps was so far to the left of the screen that she was literally cut in half. And there was hardly time to see if she was posing for real or if it was a computer freeze. Later, when time stops in the subway car, it was so dark that you couldn't see any of the frozen people. Ugh. Let's just hope that Ali Larter gets frozen soon, and that they linger a bit on her body.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I would of settled for the woman running the roulette table, but nothing. That was episode 4, by the way. 3 was where he stopped time in the streets of Tokyo where mostly schoolgirls were frozen.

Still, Ali's character is in Vegas as is our time-stopping guy and she is crazy, so he might just do it at some point.

Maybe that in order to save her, they have to freeze her and carry her off to some place. :D

The Casino frezze was a bit better on HD tv. Image was clear enough to see the pretty girls in the background and there was just a little bit more images on the sides so the cocktail girls was not cut in half.

And while I wait for the cheerleader to be frozen in time, I notice that this show is actually really good. :D

The cheerleader's not even 18 so I can't bring myself to hope for that, but Ali Larter's character on the other hand...

And you're right. It is a good show!

Oh whatever....

There are all kinds of clips around here of 15-17 girls getting frozen.
And like most of us on these boards, we use those clips to _ _ to all the time!

is it video freeze or live freeze or mixture of both? :?: :?:

It seems to be a mixture. Obviously for the most part it's FX because then they can do stuff like suspend water or explosions, but during a couple of moments during scenes (namely when he seems to interact with those who are frozen) that it appears to be live.
