Just a reminder that the four new Atlanta clips went up yesterday. Also, if anyone has any requests for the upcoming LA shoot please attach them to this thread. We're shooting next weekend and fan favorite Dianne will be a prominent part of the shoot!

Well, I bought four clips today from your Atlanta shoot, so I thought I'd offer up my two cents.

Models: Eugenia and Lex were definitely the best in my opinion. They were the most attractive, and also held their poses very well. (Lex especially.) I definitely would not mind it if you used the two of them again. For videos like these, the attractiveness of the models is a major component to the success, and the other two models (Sharon and Jessica) just didn't do it for me. (If not for the little games that work best with 3 or 4 people, I'd almost say that both girls were dead weight, but that's just me.)

Freezing: The freezing was overall not bad. The freezing in freeze tag was noticeably better than the freezing in the First Bell Freeze. I'm not sure if its because the models were still getting used to their hypnotic triggers, but often times they'd break out of pose slightly and their freezing would look somewhat shoddy. This was definitely more prevalent in the First Bell Freeze. Going further on that note, I'd also like to point out that some of the models didn't look like they were fully into it. I'm not sure if its because the hypnosis and the inductions weren't heavy enough or if they were simply resistant to it, but they definitely weren't as fully subdued under as the models you originally used in your first few videos (Kim, Lina and Dianne). Another observation I had was the fact that often the model's seemed a little too relaxed, especially when being posed. To put it plainly, they weren't as stiff as they could have been nor did they hold their poses very well when being moved around or pushed onto the couch. (Again, in comparison to your first videos).

Camera: Just wanted to point out that the camera you're using is great. The visuals are excellent and the lighting is superb. Great job on that.

So in conclusion...

What I personally found good: Eugenia and Lex. (Eugenia didn't seem too into it, as opposed to Lex who seemed quite into it. Eugenia held her poses really well though when she tried.) Camera and lighting. The banter between the girls is always entertaining, especially given the unique circumstances.

Suggestions:
-Try to have your models be more stiff. The way their bodies reacted to being moved around or posed reminded me more of ragdolls than mannequins. (This is especially important in your mannequin/pose skits.)
-Try not to use the couch so much. Standing poses really emphasize the state of being frozen. Creative poses like outstretched arms, mid raised hands and fingers, and expressive faces are really killer.
-If all of your models were as put under as Lex (and as attractive or better) then you'd have a perfect winner.

Anyways, great job as always. I enjoyed the clips that I bought today and I hope to see more improvements in the future.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a thorough critique. It is definitely helpful in guiding us on future shoots. A couple of comments on your observations:

You were very astute in noticing the depth of trance, and therefore quality of freezing of the participants. They did indeed freeze better on freeze tag than first freezes because they had been under longer and were more used to the suggestions. This was the first time being hypnotized for all of them and you never know what you are going to get. As you observed, Lex was the best even though it was her first time. That was because she really enjoyed the feeling of being hypnotized. She is a must the next time we are in Atlanta. Eugenia could get there. She also enjoyed the feeling, but not quite as much as Lex. We'll try to use her again. I agree that the others are not worth repeating with.

There are a couple of reasons we use new models. First of all, people want to see new faces, especially attractive ones, so we're always looking for new talent. Next, you never know who the next superstar will be. Lex may be one. We want to find people like that.

But we often like to pair new models with those we know will be great. That's what we're doing this weekend in LA. We'll have some of our best subjects: Dianne, Kimberly and maybe Lina, but we'll also be auditioning 10 new people. We'll then pick the best three or four and match them with the veterans. That's another new thing we're trying, auditions where we put the models under and see who responds best. We were not able to do that in Atlanta.

As for the specific suggestions for the shoot, those all sound good. We'll try to keep those in mind.

Anyone have anything else they would like to see us shoot this weekend? Either specific scenarios or maybe wardrobe?

Oh yeah, and as a quick note... I recently purchased your Alexa,Teri and Marisa Bell Freeze clip and I thought it was great. If you ever get the chance, please bring Alexa (tall showgirl in black?) back in the future. They all froze and held poses extremely well, and on top of that, Alexa was super attractive. Its a shame there was only one freeze clip out of the three available, and that it was a little shorter in length than usual. I'd love to see more of her.

I have purchased many clips going back to the first release, and I must say they are all terrific. I appreciate the fact that freezing is always given its due, as that's the main draw of hypno for me.

I would agree with Ivman's points about the posing. The couch is fine from time to time, but the best poses are of the standing variety. As he said, colorful facial expressions are awesome. I'll add that I particularly like to see the models frozen while holding objects, then see the resulting positions once the objects are removed - like the grip on a cup, or the clutching of a pillow (as was done with Diane in one of the early clips.)

I'd also like to see some faceplay on the frozen girls, especially the opening of closed mouths.

In addition, I'd like to see frozen girls having their shoes/socks removed.

Thanks for the further comments. On Alexa, you're right, she is strikingly beautiful and one of the best subjects we've had. I'm sure we can get her again. She's based in Las Vegas, and literally is a showgirl, so we'll try to get her again next time we're there.

And thanks for the other suggestions. We'll try to work them into the next shoot.

I'm a bit of a fashionista who is always somewhat annoyed (though it's admittedly my problem) whenever these videos feature barefoot models, or worse, in thongs. What would be interesting (something I've seen in at least one Guy Talon video) is if two girls in mannequin poses were to have their shoes switched - to see them hold their foot in a high-heeled pose like a sculpted mannequin would. It could be presented as a prank by the non-frozen girls in the scene.

What can I say - I like my mannequin girls to look like they came from a store window, not a dusty warehouse.
