an AVI ( Audio Video Interleave) is NOT an ISO file, inside the rar archive there will be an AVI file using a given codec such as xvid, wmv, divxx etc, given that its a single rar file then the AVI is one complete file, however if the rar archive is password protected then your out of luck.

the good news? well the larger 4+ Gig ISO file just needs to burned to a DVD disk and your good to go. its a large download but an ISO file is an image of the original DVD so you get the menus and stuff, if the original DVD was dual layered then it would be compressed to fit the the single layer of a DVD-R.

On the hosting site it shows a thumbnail of a disk and says ISO so it should be a straight ISO file with NO password to worry about.

just remember to burn the disk as a 'ISO', NERO can do this.

Guess we are out of luck. The iso file is also an rar file, that is password protected.

I have enough experience handling different file formats to know what works and what don't work, so it shall not be a problem at my end.

So unless the one who found the files can tell us if there where a password along with it or someone knows how to crack the password, so is the file files useless.

it sounds like whoever uploaded the file didn't know what they were doing, if the rar archive only contained part of the WHOLE ISO...and didn't post the rest, so yeah it is pretty friggin useless..sucks for us as this seems like the only source at the moment...

I for one often have a hard time finding a place to buy the dvd, that don't require knowledge about written Japanese. And when you first find a site, so does it at best have a few of the dvds you want. So its actually harder to buy then to get free.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound sarcastic. I just read people's frustrations over things they can't download or they can't get them to play. When really no need to be. I've never tried to order any of these vids as I don't understand the language or they don't seem to interest me much.

On xvideos...just bring up "japanese time stop" or "frozen" in search and it does have a few in there. A few can download to your PC while others can only be viewed..but it is free.

A.gogousenet.com is a pay site that can download to your PC. I think they have an inexpensive 3-day or 7-day trial and they also have some japanese timestop vids. That's where I found the mannequin spray video that kind of appealed to me.

i dunno how you could have a tough time with rars....get winrar, its free, download ALL the parts and then open just one of the parts and extract just one. it will auto extract every part into one...simple

winrar is what you should use, once installed right click your mouse, select extract and winrar will do the rest and you will have a nice shiny new AVI.

There are also numerous "premium link generator" sites (www.hlusoe.info for eaxample), which will download content from many popular online storage providers, and then provide you with a direct download link. This method can sometimes be quicker, depending on the bandwidth limitations for the host.

As timekill states, it's best to use winrar when handling .rar file types. If however you prefer "one size fits all" software, I highly recommend Power Archiver. It covers all major compression formats (.zip, .rar, .tar, ect), although admittedly you'll likely get slightly better performance using winrar ^_^

And now for a question: What are peoples opinions about the movie as a whole? I personally was quite disappointed. The woman playing the initial main role seemed like a sex-craving lunatic, and it didn't feel too disimilar to the typical male-female timestop movies from the same provider (which I guess is great if you like that kind of thing ^_^). I take my hat off to some of the freezing though, the female subject in the first scene was being pushed/pulled/groped every which way, and still kept her pose.

I guess I was hoping for something similar to the final scene in VSPDS-583, but alas it was not meant to be XD
