Here's an alternate trailer. Keep an eye open at 0:17. There also is a brief scene at 1:47 where it looks like a show room and a male surrogate is taken out of a display box. There appears to be a salesman operating him by remote control. I can only hope they demonstrate a female version!

Hmm, just went on the official website and if you click on "visit VSI" it takes you on a little 3-D tour of the imaginary facility. You can walk into the showroom, and there is a sexy brunette in a bodyglove type suit thats rotating around on display at 360 degrees!

* I will give my review of this film, so if you haven't seen it yet, and are worried about spoilers, then don't read any further!

A very good movie: whether you're into Sci-Fi Action films, or if you see it just for the ASFR content alone. Keep in mind that all of the surrogates are physically perfect, life-like robots. However, if you're into blank, glassy-eyed stares, then you won't be disappointed. Both of the main female characters are VERY,VERY HOT, and both are deativated at some point in the movie. (When they are deativated, their head tilts down a bit, but their eyes stay open!

There is one part in the film in particular, where the surrogate version of Bruce Willis is destroyed. The human version of Bruce experiences some anxiety when walking down a city street for the first time "since he can remember." His hot partner suggests that they find him a temporary replacement body. They go to a pawnshop/second-hand store, and I soon found myself swallowing hard in my throat and mumbling, "Oh damn!" . . . This was an unexpected surprise, and I found myself sitting up in my seat as they enter the store. I would liken the scene to walking into a department store, only all of the mannequins are freeze models. There is a very good close up of a chesty brunette in a red bikini right off the bat. There were a half-dozen or so of these hot mannequins throughout the store that the camera pans over, and all of the females but one, (in a blouse), were attired in bikinis or in one piece bathing suits. I believe that scene alone will go down in ASFR history! They all held their blank stares and poses perfectly! (There are even some dudes standing around in nothing more than their briefs, if that's your thing).

Bruce Willis's hot wife works in a beauty salon and does up-grades on various female surrogates. Every one of the clients is physically beautiful, and some are sitting in their chairs with blank looks as they are attended too. There are also charging stations throughout the city, and there are a few hot girls shown being "re-charged" with glassy stares and hands at their sides (including Bruce's hot partner).

I won't reveal the ending, since there are many twists and turns in the plot, but the power-grid is shut down, and the entire city full of surrogates collapses to the ground. There are many more pans of deactivated surrogates, (lying in the streets, slumped over or hanging out the windows of cars) and they all have their eyes open. The beauty salon with all of the beautiful women is also shown.

My only regret about this film was that I didn't have the old pause button handy! However, I will certainly be at Best Buy on the very day this comes out on DVD.

I agree with most of what you said about the film.

My favorite part was when Bruce Willis' wife deactivated when they were talking at the beauty salon. Too bad Bruce Willis couldn't have stayed a *tad* bit longer.

I wish the surrogates didn't all just collapse at the end. If they had all simply stopped... well, that would have been one of the greatest ASFR moments I'd have ever seen.

On a side note... yeah, the movie wasn't bad.

Yes, the part where she pauses in the salon after the argument was a hot scene. The part where his partner pauses behind the control console was also a good scene.

I agree that if the entire city just stopped in time, the end would have been that much better. (Especially since the main controller could "pause" any of the surrogates - as in the girl getting attacked in the hotel room). Regardless, it was still worth my nine bucks!

I just came across this bootleg on line. I downloaded it myself without any issues, but you're doing so at your own risk! The quality is pretty lame and the audio is WAY OFF, but you will get the idea. It seemed to play better through real player, than windows media player. The part where they go looking for another body at the second-hand store is at 44:40. It is hard to make out the detail of the actresses faces and bodies because of the poor vid quality, but it's better than nothing! Also, the last quarter of the film where all of the surrogates in the city are powered down, seems to be missing. The part where Bruce's wife powers down at the salon is around 1:03:35 (unfortunately, it's hard to appreciate, because the audio doesn't match up).

Just saw the movie just now pretty good movie actually was extremely surprised. Anyone thats a freeze fan should check it out some shots are like nice....... Check the pic out shows a immobile chick staring off in the distance, this movie has plenty of that here... And the movie itself is a decent movie its a win win situation

There's a seven page thread on this movie over on the Fembot Central messageboard. I don't bother going over there much anymore, (after the crystal clear Pepsi/Coke fiasco), but someone may have found a torrent in that thread by this point. I guess you'll have to read through them...
