Not out 'till June.

According to what I've read it seems this will focus on the fast forward more than pause. But we can always hope. :guh

Looks good but I'll probably be dissapointed as it's

1.) An Adam Sandler film
2.) The pranks will be either on the dog or guys since fooling with women is still taboo in our society.

I'll probably just wait for it to come out on aeres or torrent it. It defeintly doesn't look like it's going to be worth 8.50.

I have read the script, and Kate Beckinsale is frozen A LOT! As well as a few supermodel-turned-actresses.

Lots of frozen scenes, I think everyone will be happy.

Guy Talon: Where did you read the script? And also, can you give us an example of a freeze scene we can expect?

I've read the script as well. I'll see if I can help, but be warned, there are a few very minor spoilers...

I'd say Beckinsale's character (who plays Sandler's wife) is "paused" probably six or seven times in the film. As far as specifics, the first time she's frozen is by accident and Sandler doesn't even notice. It's late at night, he's just gotten home from getting the remote (still not knowing its "powers") and is watching TV on the couch. Beckinsale comes downstairs to tell him something, he pauses the TV to respond (never turning around to look at her) and it pauses her as well. He apologizes for whatever it was she was griping at him for, then unpauses the TV (unpausing her as well). She obviously didn't hear his apology, is somewhat frustrated, and says something like, "Just think about what I said," then goes back to bed.

Most of the pauses are very brief and pretty much allow for Sandler to comment to himself on something that just happened - or try to think of something to say in response to something a paused character just said to him. I can only think of one time when he even touches Beckinsale while she's paused, and that's to give her a kiss on the cheeck.

There's a lot of pausing and then Sandler kicking someone in the balls or punching in the face (like in the trailer), but there's never really any other manipulation of limbs or anything. Like I said, all the pauses are very brief. I think there might be one scene in which Sandler pauses his boss (Hasselhoff) and his two hot assistants (seen briefly sitting on his desk in a quick shot in the trailer), but I can't recall for sure. He freezes Hasselhoff probably three times or so, but as for other women, there's really not a whole lot of that, unless you count paused woman in the background in some shots.

Most of the movie really deals with Sandler using the fast forward button to fast forward through a lot of his life. That's kind of the core issue - him realizing he's missed so much of his life and wanting it back (the remote kind of goes haywire). It's pretty clever the things they've thought up for the remote to do, but I don't want to spoil much more. If there are any other questions, just post and let me know...

Is there any other things Sandler does with the remote besides pause and fast forward. Perhaps rewind anything? Just asking?

He probably does everything he can with it. He has volume control which he uses on his dog and slo-mo's a jogger in the trailer.

I'm really not sure LH, I actually found the description in the freeze scene thread.

"- Adam pauses people at work several times in the middle of the script, and these scenes always include the two hot models who are always around Hasselhof. In a conference room, he freezes everyone to find the source of fart, and sees a frozen woman sitting in the corner looking embarrassed."

I don't know if it actually is in the movie or not. :D
